Luke Nelson is an experienced commercial litigation attorney, with more than 18 years of broad-spectrum litigation experience. He is also a registered patent attorney, with significant experience in patent litigation matters.

Mr. Nelson brings a diverse legal background to his practice. He has handled numerous types of complex commercial litigation and disputes and has also served as general counsel of a start-up private investment company, guiding small-business acquisitions. As a result of this background, Mr. Nelson has a nuanced legal understanding of lawsuits and business dynamics, and he also appreciates the nonlawyer’s perspective on disputes, business deals, and personal legal matters.

 

Mr. Nelson has litigated all sorts and sizes of disputes, from massive actions with multiple venues, dozens of parties, and hundreds of millions of dollars at stake, all the way down to lawsuits over spilled coffee and repossessed ATVs. Selected representations include numerous zero-dollar resolutions defending against tort and patent lawsuits brought against Mr. Nelson’s clients.
